For the University of Verona, social inclusion, within the context of its relationship with the local community, encompasses all the actions through which the University promotes dialogue, collaboration, and co-design with citizens, local authorities, and Third Sector organizations. At the same time, Third Sector organizations act as a bridge between the University community and the social, cultural, and educational needs of the local area. Through this process, the University, citizens, associations, and public institutions work together to foster the cultural, social, and economic development of the community.
Objectives
The main objectives are:
- strengthen the University of Verona's role as a driver of social and cultural development;
- enhance relationships with Third Sector organizations and local stakeholders;
- promote co-design initiatives involving the University, citizens, Third Sector organizations, and public institutions;
- encourage joint participation in calls for proposals and funding opportunities promoted by public institutions and local foundations, such as Fondazione Cariverona;
- support collaborative projects with a strong social, cultural, and educational impact;
- make the University's strategic objectives more visible and measurable through their impact on the local community;
- translate academic research outcomes into practical applications and accessible language for the public;
- organize training programmes that foster dialogue between the University and the Third Sector;
- promote undergraduate and doctoral theses, as well as volunteering activities, in collaboration with local organizations.
CSV Agreement: A Partnership for Volunteering
The University has signed an important Framework Agreement with the Federazione del Volontariato di Verona ODV – CSV Verona ODV to promote the social and cultural development of the local community.

Universal Civil Service 2026: Guidance for Applicants
Following the publication of the 2026 Universal Civil Service call for applications, CSV Verona has reactivated its guidance service for young people aged 18 to 28 who are interested in applying.
The service aims to help applicants:

better understand how the Universal Civil Service works;

identify the project that best matches their interests and aspirations;

receive personalized guidance from experts familiar with the sector.
This year, CSV is not submitting its own projects, but instead provides information and guidance for those wishing to apply through other organizations.

"Cercasi Umani" Campaign
The University proudly supports the "Cercasi Umani" ("Humans Wanted") campaign, a volunteering initiative promoted by CSV Verona that involves numerous municipalities across the province.
