Well-being HUBUniversity policies

Vision and strategic objectives
The University’s commitment is formalized in the strategic planning documents:
Well-being policies are based on four fundamental pillars:
-
Well-being culture
A coordinated set of actions to promote individual and organizational well-being. -
Equity and equal opportunities
Combating all forms of discrimination, harassment, and mobbing, with particular attention to gender equality policies. -
Inclusion and sustainability
Removing barriers to academic participation and enhancing human resources, time, and energy. -
Generative welfare
Services and participatory initiatives that create value for the entire university community.
The system for promoting organizational well-being of the University is based on a network of bodies, working groups, and reference figures that, through complementary skills and specific areas of intervention, contribute to building an inclusive, safe, and sustainable university environment attentive to the quality of life of the academic community.
Within their respective responsibilities, the University governing bodies – the Rector, Academic Senate, and Board of Directors – ensure strategic direction, institutional supervision, project approval, and the allocation of the resources necessary for their implementation.
The Delegate for Organizational Well-being, Prof. Michela Rimondini, carries out a coordination and liaison function, promoting dialogue, the sharing of objectives, and the development of integrated initiatives, with a view to collaboration and the enhancement of the diverse professional roles and responsibilities present within the University.
Contributing to this system are the HUB Well-being Group and the GEP and Gender Budget Coordination Table, together with the Rector’s Delegates for Inclusion – Prof. Sara Svaluto-Ferro, for Sport and Active Lifestyles – Prof. Cantor Tarperi, for Health and Safety – Prof. Marco Peruzzi, and for Sustainability – Prof. Nicola Frison.
Working in close synergy with these actors are also the Single Guarantee Committee (CUG), the Confidential Counsellor, and the Student Ombudsperson, which, within their respective roles and prerogatives, contribute to promoting well-being, equity, and the protection of the university community.”
