Student Career Management - Sciences and Engineering

We would like to remind you that from 23 December 2022 to 8 January 2023 ALL the University's facilities will be closed, with the exception of the study spaces of the Frinzi and Meneghetti Central Libraries (, laboratories, research and/or welfare facilities. All activities will resume as normal on Monday 9 January 2023.

The single number for enrolment is active during the summer period, in order to provide an unequivocal reference point for any doubts regarding course enrolment, the deadlines to be respected and the procedures to be followed. A team of tutors and specialized students will be available to answer your questions. 
For summer 2021, the single number will be active from June 28 until October 15. The service, available Monday through Friday, is active every morning from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and on Wednesdays also in the afternoon slot 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

FRONT-OFFICE VIA ZOOM: especially indicated for prospective students to solve general questions; it will be provided on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at this link.

The service is aimed at all students enrolled in courses of study in the School of Science and Engineering and includes services and documentation useful for the management of the student's career. Administrative procedures:

  • Resumption of studies (following a previous suspension) (form at the bottom of the page)
  • Recognition of credits from previous careers (concluded for withdrawal, for achievement of title, or for loss of student status)
  • Check of "admission tests" to second year of course and propaedeuticities
  • Issue of certificates
  • Outgoing transfer (form at the bottom of the page)
  • Admission to years subsequent to the first (form at the bottom of the page)
  • Curriculum transfer, course transfer and related recognitions.
    • Students who wish to transfer to another curriculum of their own Course of Study, must fill in the form that can be found in the attachments at the bottom of the page and send it to from their institutional account. No revenue stamp must be affixed to the form.
      Period in which to send the request: from July 14 to October 15, 2021.
  • Admissions to master's degree courses through the configuration of the procedure, verification of documentation and requirements (form at the bottom of the page).
  • Withdrawal from studies:
    • Students are asked to follow the new guidelines, as per the published notice.

Students are reminded to contact the Equal Access to Education Unit for the payment of fees, applications for scholarships, benefits and facilities.

Some types of procedures cannot be completed independently by the student and require the support of the Student Secretariat - Careers staff. For requests related to your career send an email from you university account to, specifying in the subject the course of study and enrolment number (numero di matricola, i.e. VR123456).

Students and prospective students can seek support from:

  • Front - Office, for all general questions and inquiries (ex: where can I find the class schedule? What is the number of the internship office?). The service is provided via telephone at +39 045 802 7989 and in-person (Front-Office, atrium of Ca' Vignal 2) on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Wednesdays from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Student Secretariat of one's course of study, for all case histories and requests specific to one's career (e.g., I can't find a transcript of an exam in my transcript, why?  Can I request to move an exam from TAF D to TAF F?). The service is provided in two ways: by e-mail ( - from one's institutional account if a student, specifying in the subject line matriculation and course of study) and by telephone (at the specific number linked to one's course of study, Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.).
