Language skills in the curriculum

The CLA (Centro Linguistico d'Ateneo) organises tests and exercises to attain the language level envisaged in one's course of study by passing 3 tests.

The exercises (CLA calendar) and the English language level B1 and B2 tests (CLA calendar) are also held at the Science and Engineering Area premises (Ca' Vignal and Villa Lebrecht).

Language skills beyond the curriculum

Exercises (CLA calendar) and tests (CLA calendar) relating to higher levels and other languages take place at the official CLA premises (Viale dell'Università, 4, Verona). Please note that the Italian L2 tests refer to a dedicated calendar.

For booklet entries and any requests for equivalences from external certifications, please follow the instructions in the following procedure. 

Additional language skills

A maximum of 6 CFUs in total are recognised, of type F if the study plan allows it, or of type D for

• English language: 3 CFU for each level of competence above the one required by the course of study (if not already recognised in the previous course of study);
• Italian for foreigners: 3 CFU for each level of competence above the one required by the course of study (if not already recognised in the previous course of study);
• Other languages: 3 credits for each level of competence starting from A2 (if not already recognised in the previous cycle of studies).
