Services
The University of Verona provides several channels and services that you can use to submit requests for information, suggestions, or reports in the event of difficulties, or if you believe you have been subjected to inappropriate behaviour.
Who Can Use These Services?
The channels and services described below are available exclusively to students enrolled in any degree programme offered by the University of Verona.
How to Request Information or Submit a Report
Information, Suggestions, or Reports Concerning Your Academic Career
The Doctoral School Administrative Office is the main point of contact for obtaining information about your academic career and for receiving support with all related administrative procedures.
You can contact the Administrative Office through the Service Desk, by telephone, or by booking an appointment at the front office:
- Through the Service Desk at: http://www.univr.it/helpdesk or via the MyUnivr intranet by clicking on the “Service Desk” icon.
- By phone at +39 045 802 8448, Monday to Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Information, Suggestions, or Reports Concerning Your Educational and Research Experience
The following contacts are available to PhD candidates:
- The PhD Programme Coordinator, together with the PhD Programme Quality Assurance Group, for observations and reports concerning the overall educational experience within the doctoral programme.
- The PhD Student Representatives on the Academic Board, for the above-mentioned matters when it is considered more appropriate to liaise through student representation rather than directly with the PhD Programme Coordinator.

Information, Suggestions, or Reports Concerning Support for Students with Disabilities and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)
The Inclusion Service promotes the quality of university life, inclusion, and accessibility for students with disabilities and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), with the aim of guaranteeing the right to education and inclusion for all enrolled students in accordance with current legislation.

Information, Suggestions, or Reports Concerning Discrimination, Sexual Harassment, Workplace Bullying, Administrative Malpractice, or Administrative Inefficiencies
At the University level, the following bodies are available:
Confidential Counsellor
The Confidential Counsellor is responsible for preventing, managing, and helping to resolve cases of workplace bullying (mobbing), sexual harassment, discrimination, and situations of distress occurring within the study, research, and work environment.
Members of the university community may bring such cases to the Counsellor’s attention. Upon receipt of a written request, the Counsellor may initiate an informal procedure, listening to the person concerned and gathering the necessary information while ensuring the utmost confidentiality for all parties involved.

Student Ombudsperson
The Student Ombudsperson receives and reviews written, non-anonymous reports submitted by students who believe that their rights and interests have been adversely affected by decisions, malfunctions, or omissions on the part of University bodies or offices.
The Ombudsperson is responsible for conducting investigations, promoting possible solutions, and monitoring the correct application of regulations concerning teaching and academic matters, reporting to the Rector where necessary.
The Ombudsperson works closely with other University bodies to ensure that University activities comply with the values and provisions of the University's Code of Ethics and with the principles and rights established in the University Statute. In particular, the Ombudsperson coordinates activities with the Student Council, the Confidential Counsellor, the Joint Staff-Student Committees, the Ethics Code Monitoring Committee, the Anti-Corruption Steering Committee, the Single Guarantee Committee, and the Quality Assurance Office.
