International Projects

The International Projects Unit provides technical and professional support to facilitate access to funding from the European Union, including institutionalised European Partnerships, as well as from foreign public and private funders, and to ensure the proper and efficient management of funded projects.

In particular, the unit:

• Analyses policies and provides support for networking activities with key stakeholders;
• Promotes international funding opportunities;
• Provides assistance to academic staff in preparing proposals, including budgets;
• Drafts guidelines, FAQs and document templates, and organises training and information events;
• Ensures the management and monitoring of application phase;
• Ensures the management and monitoring of management and reporting phase of funded projects;
• Defines University rules and practices to be adopted, including guidelines, FAQs and document templates to support reporting;
• Organises training and information events;
• Coordinates second-level audit activities;
• Collects data relating to submitted proposals and funded projects;
• Manages the University’s digital identities on the main international portals.

Pre-award support

Assistance in finding calls for proposals and preparing proposals is provided by the following people:

Post-award support

Once a proposal has been funded, the negotiation phase is supported by Cecilia Negri, together with the designated contact person for the financial reporting support.
