Concrete support for women victims of violence

The University of Verona, in collaboration with the Municipality of Verona and the Petra Anti-Violence Center, provides a dedicated help desk service for reception, information, and initial support for women victims of violence. This service, part of the university’s gender policies, is designed to offer practical support to the female members of the university community in a confidential and anonymous manner.

A commitment to prevention, awareness, and support

The initiative was created with the aim of strengthening prevention and combating gender-based violence, as well as fostering a safer, more aware, and inclusive university environment. The project is supported by the Veneto Region, which has allocated funding under Regional Law No. 5 of 2013. The joint commitment of the University of Verona, the Municipality of Verona, and the Veneto Region demonstrates that the fight against violence against women is a shared priority, requiring collaboration among all institutions to ensure a safer and more inclusive future for everyone.
