The proper stable module category of a group algebra

For any group and any commutative ring of coefficients we introduce the proper stable module category of the corresponding group algebra. This is a tensor-triangulated category which is constructed by means of abelian model categories and recovers previous constructions for special classes of groups or rings of coefficients. This is joint work in progress with Juan Omar Gomez.
