How to reset the TOTP-key generating mobile app

  1. Go to: https://aap.univr.it/UNIVRMfaQr/qr
  2. Log in using your GIA login details

  3. Enter the set/preferred code (OTP via e-mail, or TOTP via mobile app)
  4. Click on: ‘Reset di sicurezza della chiave TOTP’ (TOTP key security reset). Resetting the TOTP key requires re-registering the MFA mobile or desktop authentication application in use, so in order to re-activate MFA authentication it will be necessary to repeat all the steps in the previous section "How to generate the QR code to register the app".
During the registration process, the following message may appear: please note that this is completely normal. Just click ‘Allow’ to proceed and generate the QR code.
