Admission to the Degree Programme requires an adequate academic background acquired through previous studies, with particular reference to Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Logic.

Applicants are also required to demonstrate English language proficiency at a level of at least B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). This requirement is verified through a mandatory language test for applicants who do not hold a valid language certification.

The assessment of the basic knowledge and skills required to successfully undertake the Degree Programme is carried out as part of the admission procedure through the TOLC-F, organized by the University of Verona in cooperation with the CISIA (Consortium of Interuniversity Integrated Access Systems).

The test may be offered at different locations and during multiple sessions, in accordance with the regulations approved annually by the Degree Programme Board.

Applicants who are successfully placed in the admission ranking but do not achieve the minimum score required in the Biology and Chemistry section, namely 6 out of 15 points, will be assigned Additional Educational Requirements (OFA). These requirements must be fulfilled by the end of the first academic year.
