Shuang Liang

Introduction

I obtained my BA in English in 2003 at Guangxi University, China and I received my MA in English Language and Literature in 2008 from Xiamen University, China. Since September 2018, I have been a PhD candidate student at the University of Verona. 
My research interests are discourse analysis, metaphor in discourse, and lexicography. 
My current research project is to investigate the metaphors used in Chinese and English discourses on the emerging technology – “the fifth generation of wireless communication technology(5G)”, aimed at revealing their similarities and dissimilarities and probing into the causes through quantitative and qualitative methods.
