Introduction
As confirmed researcher Monica Molteni has been appointed as professor for the course History of Artistic and Restoration Techniques.Her research activity especially regards artistic techniques and restoration history, studied both in the artistic literature and documentary sources, and using the non-invasive diagnostic methods of the LANIAC centre, where she is vice-director.
In these dual fronts, the most recent research projects focus on problems related to conservation and artwork restoration between Nineteenth and Twentieth Century. In this order can be pointed out as currently ongoing the catalogation and indexing of personal archive of Ottemi Della Rotta (restorer) and the project FRESCO (financed by Joint Project 2017), focused on the problem of detatching of frescoes and their musealization. The results of both study campaigns will be available in a section of the Rossana Bossaglia Centre website dedicated to Restoration and restorers and they will be online available.
