Introduction

Felice Gambin's fields of expertise are: the Golden Ages Spanish Literature, in particular Baltasar Gracián and his reception in Italy; the secretary between the XV and XVI century; medical and philosophical treatises on melancholy and its literary representations; witches and exorcists during the Spanish Golden Ages; the works of Cervantes,Huarte de San Juan, Andrés Velásquez, Lope de Vega, Pedro de Valencia, Helios Gómez; Spanish minorities: Jews, Conversos, Moors and Moriscos; the representation of the Spanish Civil War and the recent history of the Iberian peninsula in the graphic novel; the work of the marrano Antonio Enríquez Gómez and his work "Política angélica".
