Teaching and Research, the function of the Departments

The Departments are responsible for the organisation of research and teaching. The 12 Departments of the University of Verona act to advance knowledge, to graft research to teaching and to promote innovation.

With Rectoral Decree No. 1047, Prot. 43114 of 6 July 2015, taking effect from 1 August 2015, the details of which are available at this link, the departmental system of the University of Verona has been changed. The process of adjusting the university's information systems, including its current web pages, will involve a series of phases (renaming, changing the affiliation of faculty and staff, teaching and research, accounting and administration) which will be completed by the beginning of the next academic year.
